Returns Policy

At Assistive Medical our commitment to you is complete customer satisfaction and this is of utmost importance to us. In the event you should need to return an item please follow the instructions below. Also note the specifics concerning "Restrictions", "Non-returnable Items", and shipments where "Damaged / Defective / Incorrectly Shipped" conditions apply.
  1. Before returning any item you must complete and submit a Return Authorization (RA) Request Form. Note: You will need the Acrobat Reader free from Acrobat for viewing and processing this form. If you do not have the Acrobat Reader on your computer you can download it free from Acrobat by clicking download Acrobat Reader now.

    We will respond to your request within 24 hours. Upon receiving your Return Authorization (RA) number it will be valid for ten (10) days only from the date of issue.

  2. Once you have received your Return Authorization Number, simply write the Return Authorization number clearly on a prepaid UPS shipping label made out to the shipping address provided in the instructions.


Restrictions
Any unauthorized return meaning item(s) returned without a valid Return Authorization number or with an expired Return Authorization number will not be accepted.

Non-returnable Items
For health reasons certain items serving their purpose may come in contact with the human body such as:
  • Compression Hosiery
  • Personal Care Items/Products
  • Incontinent Supplies/Products that have been opened
  • Bathroom Equipment
  • Sterile Supplies/Products
  • Special Orders


Damaged / Defective / Incorrectly Shipped
In the event you receive shipments that are damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped, we will replace them within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase for a full credit. Concerning defective item(s) replacements will be identical item(s) only, no substitutions.

General Information
You must have a valid Return Authorization number before returning any items. All items must be in their original packaging. Shipping charges apply for all returns and must be prepaid. The condition of returned items will be inspected upon arrival. Any returned items considered unsuitable for resale will not be accepted. Additional charges may apply for items considered unsuitable for resale and or missing from the original order. Prior to returning any items please include all associated manuals, warranty cards, etc. All warranties are based on manufacturer's warranty/policy and merchandise considered defective will be repaired or replaced based on such. A minimum restocking fee of (eighteen) 18 percent will be applied to all returns over 30 days from date of purchase. Products are not returnable beyond 60 days from the date of purchase.
